FUTURE SUSTAINABILITY – POLICY SCENARIOS

MITIGATION SCENARIO

The mitigation scenario considers the following policy setting:

  • the conditional Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) are binding targets
  • a Green Climate Fund is financed by developed countries
  • Green Climate Fund supports the Least Developed Countries that redistribute the revenues through subsidies to clean energy, Research&Development and Public Service sectors.

The APPS Index gives an assessment of the 2030 sustainability level in the mitigation scenario all over the World in the [0, 100] range. The higher the score, the more sustainable is the country.

By clicking on a specific country, a bar graph will show the improvement/deterioration of the sustainability performance (overall and by SDG) compared to the 2030 reference scenario.
